Samsung: Galaxy S III 10 Million Units Sold


Seoul - Smartphone Galaxy S III claimed to be sold in the market. Samsung said it has sold 10 million units of Galaxy S III, only two months since its introduction in early May 2012 in the city of London.

Samsung is targeting total sales of 10 million units of S III at the end of July that has been proclaiming for some time. Now, the target was successfully achieved. S III alone sold more than 140 countries.

"It seems that the accumulation of sales has exceeded 10 million units," said JK Shin, head of Samsung's Mobile Communications Division is quoted by AFP on Monday (7/23/2012).

S III is a hero Samsung Android smartphone today. In superior features that include a quad core processor, features voice command's Voice and face recognition technology.

South Korean vendors are still in first place in the world's largest smartphone manufacturer. Research research firm Strategy Analytics said Nokia sold 44.5 million smartphones in Q1 2012, followed by Apple with sales of 35.1 million units.


Meanwhile HTC Beats Audio Sell Shares ..

 Taiwanese smartphone vendor, HTC, sold part ownership of company shares Beats Audio. Initially, HTC steady at 51% interest purchased Beats Audio valued at USD 300 million in August last year.

HTC will continue to work with Beats Audio and audio technology is exclusively produced in most smartphones. While the Beats Audio will be more dominant control of the company.

But now, 25% of the shares sold back to the Beats HTC Audio. So like a quotation from PCMag, Monday (7/23/2012), Beats Audio has a 75% stake. While the HTC now gets 25% stake.

HTC's first partnership with Beats headphones is done by bundling systems Beats Audio on most HTC phones. However, this system ended last April. Because the HTC smartphone consumers realize not all that interested.

"A accessories such as headphones is not a factor when someone buys a smartphone. If they want a headphone Beats, they will buy it myself," said Martin Fichter, Executive Product HTC some time ago.
