Newest Ubuntu Now Available for Tablet PC


As the main developer of Ubuntu, Canonical is committed to bring the operating system to smartphones, tablets, and even up to the television. This plan is not just a hoax, because all OS's work in progress.

Although both are made from the same platform, but Ubuntu emphasizes the functions of a desktop computer in a tablet. Problem is equally comprehensive applications, many cool applications that can be downloaded for free.

As a first step in the expansion of the mobile realm, Canonical has released Ubuntu officially 12:10 specifically for tablet Google Nexus 7. The operating system is claimed to be promised a different flavor than using Android.

As we quoted from thevarguy, Wednesday (31/10/2012), while Ubuntu is only available for the Nexus 7, but there is a possibility in the future will also be released for tablet PCs.

But to install Ubuntu on Nexus 12:10 7 user must first open the 'lock' bootloader on the tablet. After that the operating system can be directly installed with a few simple steps.

Meanwhile, Canonical is getting ready to release a version of Ubuntu 13:04 for the computer.
