Google to Use Motorola Sues Apple
Lawsuit war between smartphone manufacturers has not showed signs of ending. Most recently, Motorola accused Apple infringed seven patents.
Motorola filed the complaint to the agency the International Trade Commission (ITC). The patent in question related location reminders, email notifications, video player, and so on.
Google acquired mobile phone vendor also asked the authorities to block the import of iPhone, iPad and Mac computers. These devices prompted banned in the United States.
This is seen as a war between Google and Apple, with Google using Motorola patents to attack Apple. What's more, Apple suing many Android vendors such as Samsung and Motorola itself.
"We want to resolve the patent issues, but Apple's unwillingness to license make us no choice but to defend our innovations," Motorola said in a statement which we have quoted from DigitalTrends, Sunday (08/19/2012).

Samsung Electronics and Osram lamp manufacturers agreed to make peace. The two companies which had been involved in a patent lawsuit some time ago.
"We are pleased to reach this new area partnerships with Samsung," said a statement from Osram which we quoted by AFP on Monday (08/20/2012).
The process of peace deal expected to be completed this month and do not need to pursue the court. They will license patent LED technology with each other and also signed a memorandum to the possibility of working together to make LED products in the future.
With the completion of the case, Samsung is now able to concentrate a lawsuit against Apple in the United States. Samsung seeks to maintain itself on a lawsuit that Apple copied Samsung assess some products iPhone and iPad.
Osram, a subsidiary of Germany's Siemens sues Samsung and LG in August last year. Osram claims the two companies violated patents related to LED lightning that are used in television and computer screens.
