5 Major Manufacturers Smartphone World


Competition in the smartphone market increasingly heated. Samsung and Apple still dominates, but Nokia have ever long-ruling thrown from the top five positions.

Samsung is still the global smartphone market leader with 31.3% market share, up from 22.7% in the previous quarter. South Korean vendors shipped 56.3 million smartphones.

Thus recorded in the study by research firm IDC on global smartphone shipments in Q3 2012. The release of Nokia from the top five among others due to strong pressure from Chinese vendors such as Huawei and ZTE.
