HP Introduces webOS 1.0


Earlier this year, Hewlett-Packard (HP) promises to bring webOS in September. The promise was finally fulfilled with the introduction of HP webOS 1.0.

"With the release of webOS 1.0, we affirm our commitment and creating a vibrant open source community," they added.

"Our efforts combined with the open source community as well as the hard work has paid off, we are now ready to work together to proceed to the next stage," the team wrote in a blog HP webOS.

This news is also increasingly confirms what the HP CEO Meg Whitman confirmed some time ago that the company will return to the realm of smartphones and prepared to develop new products.
