Microsoft Surface Rated less powerful

Upon the arrival of the iPad Mini, another tablet widespread concern is the Microsoft Surface. Surface waves early reviews tablet that uses Windows 8 RT has come before its official launch late October. What do they say?

Sam Biddle, an editor at Gizmodo, stating also that Surface does have fantastic potential. But he criticized the OS Windows RTs judged less powerful and less functional.

Matt Burns journalists from media tablet technology TechCrunch assess the good and the Windows operating system RT promising. But there are still some features that are less steady.

"There is a choice (tablet) a more mature available today," he wrote that we quoted by Reuters on Thursday (10/25/2012).

Windows RT also considered less compatible with the old generation software. This OS is a version of Windows 8.

"Despite its potential worth your attention, this tablet is not worth paying. Surface RT indeed do many things correctly and combine a lot of good things in one package. However immature," he wrote.

The small applications are also drawn criticism. "Microsoft said there would be thousands of applications launched, but the applications are already offered very little compared to the supplied Apple for the iPad," writes Edward Baig of USA Today.

"Microsoft does not explain the difference well, and some consumers are likely to buy a RT only to find the OS does not have full function of Windows 8," said Vincent Nguyen of SlahsGear.

"If you do not have problems with the application and durability of the batteries at least disappointing, it may provide a productivity tablet that does not exist in other tablets," he wrote.

But there was also praise for the Surface from Walt Mossberg, Wall Street Journal senior reporter. He praised the inclusion of functional applications such as Microsoft Office and the keyboard.
